The owner, architect and design team brought new life to this adaptive reuse project, delivering a new, exciting “food hub” space in downtown Klamath Falls, A bakery, bar, coffee shop and public indoor/outdoor eating space make up one half, and the other will be an updated space for the existing rock climbing gym with a new solarium.

The Zero Envy team were able to provide iterative energy modeling through the design phases to ensure the project was on-track for net zero energy and to leverage utility incentives from the Energy Trust of Oregon. The “Path to Net Zero” incentives helped to offset the cost of energy modeling and reduce the first-cost of energy efficiency measures for the project.
